Savannah Workshop - March 28-30, 2008
Join David Akoubian in beautiful and historic Savannah, Georgia for an information filled, activity packed weekend. This is a terrific opportunity for the beginning and intermediate photographer to practice their skills in the field! Photograph the downtown parks, gardens and squares of Savannah - known for it’s old world and unique architecture. Also photograph nationally famous Forsyth Park and spend an evening of night photography on Savannah’s Riverfront. Shoot sunrise on Tybee Island, explore Fort Pulaski and the beautiful Wormsloe Plantation, known for it’s 1.5 mile entrance lined with 400 oak trees. In addition we will visit Savannah’s famed Bonaventure Cemetery. Plenty of instruction on this trip including exposure methods, composition, zone focusing, filters, night photography and MORE! David photographs with Digital SLR Cameras and will share tips on downloading and basic image manipulation if time permits. Film cameras are still welcome though.
