Tuesday February 5, 2008 I decided with all of the recent rains it would be a great chance to go and photograph Amicalola Falls in Dawson County, Georgia. We have been in a drought here in Georgia and several trips to the falls prior to this were very disappointing. It was also a chance for me to use my Olympus E-510 to photograph a landscape and try my IS in the camera. I got several nice images but look forward to having some green trees around the falls in Spring. The first image is from the parking area at the bottom of the falls. The second image is from halfway up the trail at the bridge that crosses the falls.
